Itinerary changes

TMUK reserves the right to make changes to the course itinerary, including without limitation changes to speakers / presenters, the venue and the programme at any time. The delegate(s) and their employer if not satisfied with the suggested course itinerary changes, have the right as described under non-attendance, to cancel and receive a full refund.

Cancellation / Postponement / Curtailment

TMUK reserves the right to cancel, postpone or curtail the course at any time, including once the course has commenced, if TMUK considers it necessary to do so for any reason. Where possible, TMUK will re-schedule the course. In the event that any delegate (or a substitute) cannot attend the re-scheduled course, the course fee will be refunded in full, although TMUK accepts no liability for any expenses incurred even if a course is cancelled at short notice.

Non-attendance

TMUK must be notified of the non-attendance of a booked delegate five working days before the course is due to commence or within five days of a notified itinerary change. Failure to do so, will result in still being charged at the relevant rate.

Participation and instructions

It is expressly acknowledged that all delegates attend the course at their own risk. TMUK requires all delegates to comply with instructions given by TMUK personnel during the course. TMUK reserves the right to remove delegates who fail to comply with instructions, in this event the delegate(s) will not be entitled to a refund of the course fee.

Indemnity in relation to damage caused

In the event that a delegate causes any loss of or damages to property belonging to TMUK or a third party whilst attending a course, TMUK will hold the delegate’s employer vicariously liable for such loss or damage and the employer shall fully indemnify TMUK on demand and against all losses, claims, demands, liabilities and costs and expenses incurred by TMUK as a result of the delegate’s acts or omissions.

No warranty

TMUK makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the content of the course, the implementation of any element(s) of the course by a delegate or their employer or the results of such implementation. Accordingly, TMUK accepts no liability in relation to any losses (including limitation loss of profit or anticipated savings, indirect, special or consequential loss) suffered by a delegate and / or its employer.

Ownership of course materials and intellectual property 

The delegate and their employer acknowledge and agree that the ownership of all course materials and the intellectual property (including without limitation patents, design rights (whether registered or unregistered), copyrights, trademarks, know-how, processes and rights in inventions or ideas comprised in those course materials belongs to and remains owned by TMUK at all times.

Payment

For tax purposes our services are considered to be 'Admission to an Event'. VAT is chargeable based on place of supply. The UK VAT rate for this is 20%.

Payment must be made in full prior to course commencement.
